Hexagonal Jazz Sextet

This Hastings-based ‘supergroup’ are guardians of the groove.  This “high energy sextet” is an ensemble of instrumental musicians with experience, authority and authenticity.  Members of this supergroup are regarded as influential to the UK jazz scene, from their contributions and associations with many top jazz artists and groups.  Hexagonal continue the improvisational artform of jazz, honouring Bheki Mseleku, the self-taught pianist, saxophonist, guitarist, composer and arranger.  At the same time maintaining the traditions of jazz, through the unique harmonic and rhythmic piano signature style of McCoy Tyner.

Formed in late 2016, Hexagonal is born of an ambition of love and experience from the “pleasure and pressure” of working with two giants of Jazz piano.
