Jazz Lounge Seaside is a community interest company (CIC), as supposed to a private limited company (Ltd).
It’s activities benefit emerging artists, bands/groups/duos and instrumental musicians in the genres of jazz, folk, blues and spoken-word.

The focus of Jazz Lounge Seaside CIC, through the Devonshire Park Jazz Sessions, as an organisation, is to enable it’s performing arts community of artists and musicians by facilitating joyful and meaningful live music experiences for an audience.
And, collaborate closely with local performing arts organisations in dynamic ways to bring people together, reigniting creativity in their lives.

Jazz Lounge Seaside CIC other activities are audience development solely to expedite the careers of this performing arts community in the UK music sector and beyond.
We seeks to create a local strategic approach to the barriers that exist for audiences and incorrect perceptions to programming of jazz, folk and blues live performances.
Fostering and enabling conversations, that should never stop, where audience feedback from questioning is the key data to be acquired.
What We Are About
Key to connecting new audiences to the idea that the new experiences on offer is one they can engage with is breaking down incorrect perceptions of who listens to jazz, blues, and folk music.
All genres of “music aim to unite you to other people,” bringing different people together.
We seeks to serve programming which will achieve the experiential quality of music for the audience. With music that has the ability to produce profound reactions and prompt questions, at the music’s end, by the audience, as to the title of what was just witnessed.
